Face Reality is a professional acne-focused skincare line with a proven track record for helping clients achieve clearer, healthier-looking skin. Most clients who consistently follow their customized program can begin seeing significant improvement within approximately 12–16 weeks, although results and clearing time can vary depending on acne type, severity, lifestyle factors, and individual skin response.
Throughout your acne-clearing journey, you’ll receive personalized recommendations, ongoing skin assessments, treatment adjustments, and support to help keep you progressing toward your goals. Because acne is rarely one-size-fits-all, your program will evolve as your skin changes.
Our goal isn’t simply to treat the breakouts you have today — it’s to help you understand your skin, reduce future breakouts, and build a routine that supports long-term clear skin.
STEP ONE: YOUR ACNE CONSULTATION
Your clear-skin journey begins with a comprehensive acne consultation. During this appointment, we’ll talk about your skin history, current concerns, previous treatments, lifestyle, and the goals you’d like to achieve.
I’ll perform a detailed skin and acne assessment to better understand your acne type, severity, and potential contributing factors. From there, I’ll create a personalized treatment plan and recommend a Face Reality home-care routine specifically selected for your skin.
You’ll also receive education and resources to help you better understand what may be contributing to your breakouts. We’ll discuss topics such as lifestyle habits, diet and supplements, skincare and cosmetic ingredients, and other common acne triggers so you can make informed choices throughout the clearing process.
This consultation gives us the foundation for your customized Acne Program and ensures you leave knowing exactly what to use, what to avoid, and what to expect moving forward.
Please note: Consistent use of your recommended Face Reality Skincare home-care regimen is required while participating in the Acne Program. Your home routine is an essential part of the clearing process and works together with your professional treatments to help you achieve the best possible results.
STEP TWO: ACNE TREATMENTS
After your initial consultation, professional acne treatments are typically scheduled every 2–4 weeks based on your skin’s needs and progress.
Each treatment is customized to support the acne-clearing process and may include a deep cleanse, an appropriate chemical or enzyme exfoliation, extractions when needed, high-frequency treatment, LED light therapy, and finishing products selected for your skin.
At each appointment, we’ll assess how your skin is responding, review your progress, and make adjustments to your treatment plan or home-care routine as needed. Because your skin can change throughout the clearing process, your program will continue to evolve with you.
Consistent treatments, combined with your customized Face Reality home-care regimen, are an important part of achieving and maintaining clearer, healthier-looking skin.
STEP THREE: MAINTENANCE
Once your skin has reached a clear and stable place, we’ll transition into a personalized maintenance plan designed to help protect your results and reduce the likelihood of future breakouts.
Maintenance may include professional acne treatments as needed, along with continued adjustments to your Face Reality home-care routine based on changes in your skin, lifestyle, seasons, or hormones.
Even after clearing, acne-prone skin can still require ongoing support. Regular check-ins allow us to address concerns early, fine-tune your regimen, and help keep your skin looking clear, balanced, and healthy long term.
